I provide editorial services – copyediting and proofreading – for publishers and organisations producing high-quality non-fiction texts, whether that’s in the form of books, journal articles, reports or other media.
(And I do also work on memoir and, occasionally, fiction.)
Whether intended for clinicians, researchers, students, or a general-public audience, I ensure that a text is structurally coherent, uses conscious language, and that it is consistent in voice, terminology, and style.
Services:
- Copyediting for clarity and flow – plain language editing an option if requested. Fact checking can also be done at this stage, if required. Files should be in Word format.
- Proofreading of typeset proofs, page layouts, and presentations. Files should be in pdf format.
